Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of Ziwei Compass (the 'Service'), operated by Ekinein Limited, a company based in Hong Kong ('Ekinein', 'we', 'us'). By using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

2. The Service

Ziwei Compass provides Zi Wei Dou Shu (紫微斗数) birth-chart readings, timelines, compatibility insights and question-and-answer features, generated by software and artificial intelligence for personal reflection.

3. Your account

You sign in with your email address and a one-time code. You are responsible for activity under your account and for giving accurate information. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

4. Plans and payments

The Service offers a Free plan and paid plans (Life Blueprint and Journey Blueprint). Prices are shown at checkout before you pay. Each purchase unlocks the chosen plan for the specific reading it was bought for. Payments are processed by Stripe.

5. Refunds

Paid content is delivered instantly, so all purchases are final once a reading has been unlocked.

The exception is a technical failure, such as a payment being taken without your reading being unlocked, or a duplicate charge. In that case email … with the address you used and the date of payment, and we will fix the problem or refund you.

Nothing in this section limits any consumer rights that the law does not allow to be excluded.

6. Plan limits

Each plan has limits, such as the number of profile readings, compatibility readings and questions included. These are described where the plans are shown, and we may adjust them reasonably over time.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service. This includes breaking the law, scraping or copying the Service at scale, reverse engineering it, reselling it, interfering with its operation, or entering birth details you are not entitled to use.

8. AI-generated content

Parts of your readings are written by AI and may contain mistakes. Please read our Disclaimer for the limits of what the Service can tell you.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, text and software, belongs to Ekinein or its licensors. We give you a personal, non-commercial licence to view and download your own readings. You may not reproduce or sell the Service or its content.

10. Liability

The Service is provided 'as is'. It is not professional advice (see the Disclaimer). To the fullest extent the law allows, Ekinein is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the reading concerned. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Suspension and ending

We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your data.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using the Service after a change, you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong, and the courts of Hong Kong have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer, you keep any mandatory rights you have under the law of the place where you live.
